A battle of strangth and wits between a suerhero and an alternate version of himself.

From the animated mind of MrShoeShine7, Mr Super Vs Anti-Mr Super is a classic tale of good and evil. The cunning Anti-Mr Super lures Mr Super into a twisted game as he tries to prove how similar they are. Mr Super is adamant he is nothing like his nemesis; he would never hurt anyone. A vicious battle of strength ensues. But who will be victorious?

With epic fight scenes and quick-fire dialogue delivered by engaging characters, the film is incredibly exciting to watch. The narrative fits perfectly within the 5 minute run time, holding audience attention easily for the duration. There is never a dull moment.

With hand drawn animations, the film is certainly a labour of love. A lot of time and effort has gone in to the production, and it shows. Everything from the character creation to the scenery has carefully been considered. The character animation is definitely a highlight. MrShoeShine7 shows exceptional talent in his ability to convey emotion and nuance through his animation of the protagonists. He puppet masters their body language with great confidence. The result is a film that sucks you temporarily into a different world – and that’s what making great movies is all about. Complementing the animation is the voice of both protagonists which are provided by @chrismcool. His lively performance brings the characters to life in another way all together.

The cinematography captured in the animation is impressive too, with sweeping camera motions, panning, and several different angles used. This works to make the film feel incredibly dynamic – an important factor in the superhero genre. Similarly, the music provided by Farhan Sarasin adds to the drama and continues to root the narrative in the superhero genre.

An action-packed thrill ride. Fiercely fun. A shining example of skill and creativity it takes to make an awesome short film.
